Installation of spikes with glue
Installation of spikes should be affixed using silicone adhesive. They always should be glued onto a dry, dust- and solvent-free surface, with an installation temperature between +5°C and +40°C and a working temperature between -50°C and +120°C. If the surface cannot be cleaned, you can fix the spikes using nails or screws. Always lay a line of glue at least 0.5 mm wide, on the spikes base. Never apply a line of glue over a metre long in advance on the surface you want to protect (ledge, roof, etc.). The adhesive can quickly dry slightly before the base will be positioned, preventing the spikes from correctly adhering to the glue. Completely dry within 5 to 8 hours. For installations on damp surfaces you must use a special quick-drying glue (MS Polymer).
